1260-ban Cememum Tementi néven szerepel. 1300-ban Herbord özvegye, Erzsébet, öt márka ezüstöt hagyományozott a ferenceseknek. A templomot Szent Erzsébet tiszteletére szentelték. 1868-ban lebontották. A reformáció után csak 1716-ban kaptak újra templomot a ferencesek: a domonkos apácák egykori templomát és kolostorát. 1951-ben a ferenceseket kényszerlakhelyekre hurcolták. Azóta a belvárosi plébániáról látják el a templom szolgálatát.
