Religious education is far more than the transmission of knowledge; it is an encounter that fosters a living relationship between the human person and God. This journey is open not only to children and young people, but also to adults who, at any stage of life, wish to rediscover or deepen the roots of their faith.
Through this process, not only are the foundations of Christian teaching revealed, but there also emerges the recognition that God personally calls each of us and gives meaning and direction to our lives.
Christ’s mission is addressed to people of every age:
“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations…” (Mt 28:19).
Religious education is therefore more than a lesson it is witness and accompaniment, through which faith ceases to be an abstract doctrine and becomes a lived reality – a path on which Christ Himself leads the human person.
