A nagyváradi kórházban, szentségekkel ellátva életének 76., papságának 53. évében elhunyt Bíró László nyugalmazott plébános. Élete utolsó éveit Hegyközpályi helységben töltötte, Csíki János kereszt- és bérmafia gondozta otthonában, családjával együtt. Temetése 2015. május 2-án, 15 órától lesz Hegyközpályin.

1940. március 8-án született Csíksomlyón. Márton Áron püspök szentelte pappá 1963. április 21-én, Gyulafehérváron. Szolgálati helyei: Csíkmadaras (1963-1964), Ditró (1964-1966), Gödemesterháza (1966-1967), Madéfalva (1967), Abosfalva (1967-1970), Tusnád (1970-1978), Déva-telep (1978-1984), Kolozsmonostor (1984-1985), Madéfalva (1986-1987), Nagyvárad (1986-1987).
