Egy évvel ezelőtt, a hargitafürdői pálos letelepedéskor az akkori tartományfőnök, Bátor Botond bevallotta, hogy vakmerő vállalkozásba fogtak, hiszen kevesen vannak. Ennek ellenére úgy gondolja, hogy a testvérek és az őket befogadó emberek lelkesedése ezt a fajta hiányosságot kárpótolni fogja. Azóta már eltelt egy esztendő. 2014. január 26-tól hivatalosan is beindult Hargitafürdőn a pálos szerzetesház. Első lakói, a Magyar Pálos Rend két tagja: P. Balla Péter Barnabás OSPPE és fr. Szőcs Imre OSPPE testvér.

2015. január 26-án évfordulós hálaadó szentmiét mutatnak be délután 6 órakor a hargitafürdői fatemplomban, , melynek főcelebránsa és szónoka Tamás József püspök. A hargitafürdői ünnepségbe az erdélyi Mária Rádió hallgatói is bekapcsolódhatnak..
