Az életre vágyakozunk a halál kultúrájában szenvedő világunkban. Ez egy ördögi kör, ami a bűnbeesés óta jelen van, mert befolyásol és megkísért a világ, így sokszor nem az élet mellett döntünk. Az igazi reményünk Isten ígérete: minden élő anyjává tette a Boldogságos Szűzanyát is, ezért megóvta őt még az áteredő bűntől. Isten ígéretéhez ma is hűséges, hiszen az életet szánta nekünk. Mária igenje kezdi meg a megváltásunk kibontakoztatását, hogy az örök élet részesei lehessünk.
