A vőlegény és a menyasszony egymás iránti szeretetének az intenzitása egyforma. Ilyennek kell lennie az Egyház és Krisztus közötti kapcsolatnak, ugyanakkor a mi Istennel való kapcsolatunknak is. Isten szeretetének erőssége soha nem fogy, mert nem önmagáért van, hanem értünk. Mária Erzsébetnél tett látogatása is erre a mások felé megmutatkozó, lángoló szeretetre hívja fel a figyelmünket: figyeljünk mások szükségére.
