Puszta Sándor papköltő (+1983) írja: „Ha a szívnek száz kapuja volna, mind a százat meg kellene nyitni, hadd zúduljon be az öröm”. Különleges módon is tegyük meg ezt ma, advent 3. vasárnapján, hisz liturgiánk Szent Pál szavaival az örömre szólít fel: „Örüljetek az Úrban szüntelenül, újra csak azt mondom, örüljetek, az Úr közel van” (Fil 4,4-5). Engedjük, hogy a szívünk megteljék örömmel, hisz Friedrich Nietzsche német filozófus azt mondja: „Akinek sok öröme van, annak jó embernek kell lennie”. Valóban, amikor nincs öröme az embernek, amikor szomorú, akkor kedvetlen, szeretetlen, ingerült, minden bűnre képes, mert az örömtelenség „a gonosz búvóhelye”. Don Orionnal, a szegények papjával (+1940) mondjam: „Bűn és búskomorság ki az én hazámból”.

Let us therefore embrace, protect and increase the grace and smile of Christ in our hearts. That way we will have a beautiful Christmas!
