A tehetetlen béna embert segítőtársai minden akadályt legyőzve a tetőn keresztül Jézus elé eresztik. Az Úr Jézus meggyógyítja, jelezve, hogy aki beteget gyógyít, az a bűnöket is megbocsáthatja, vagyis ő az Istenember. Igyekezzünk adventben minden akadályt legyőzve Jézushoz járulni és másokat is hozzá vezetni, hogy minket is, embertestvéreinket is testi-lelki betegségeinkből meggyógyítson, egy jó szentgyónásban bűneinket megbocsássa.
