Betegségben, szenvedésben talán az a legnehezebb, hogy nem tudjuk, meddig tart. Elcsigázottakká és kimerültekké válunk, mint a Jézus korabeli emberek, akiken megesik az ő szíve. Az Úr vigasztalja népét: nem rejtőzik el, meggyógyítja sebeit, megkönyörül népén, megmutatja a helyes utat. Milyen jó, ha jelenlétünkkel gyógyítani tudunk, irgalmasságot sugárzunk, Isten országa elérkezésének örömét tudjuk továbbadni másoknak.
