Szent András apostolnak Keresztelő János mutatta meg Jézust, az Isten Bárányát, András apostol pedig testvérét, Pétert vezeti a megtalált Messiáshoz. Megtalálni Istent, másokat is odavezetni hozzá: szép adventi elhatározás. Ahogyan Szent András tud háttérben maradni neheztelés, rossz érzés nélkül, mi is legyünk Isten tapintatos, alázatos szeretetének eszközei: vele együtt, az ő oldalán. Nekünk is szól a jézusi meghívás: "Kövessetek engem!" Ők azonnal otthagyták hálóikat... Én?
