Az érsekségi borok díjnyertesek lettek a XXIII. Közép-Kis-Küküllő-menti nemzetközi borversenyen, amelyet Balavásárhelyen február 27-március 2. között rendeztek meg.

Az borversenyen Magyarország, Horvátország, Szlovákia és Délvidék több mint 350 bora volt megmérettetve. A zsűri tagjai között minden vidék képviselője jelen volt.

A Gyulafehérvári Római Katolikus Érsekség Tóth Csaba borász szakértelmét dicsérő olaszrizling, valamint a Kövér, a Szürkebarát és az Ottonel Muskotály összetételőből származó érsekségi szőlészetből nyert borok ezüst érem minősítést kaptak.
