We all might know about the events that took place concerning the Roman-Catholic Theological High School in Târgu Mureș last year and especially in the last days. The situation of the school is unclear, even now, a week before the start of the school year. The competent institutions continue keeping the parents in a total incertitude. The measure of surveillance of the principal, dr. Tamási Zsolt, was repeatedly prolonged, without him being charged.

Our Holy Mother Church usually does not seek justice in the street or squares, but rather in her churches and – if necessary – in court. In the present situation, the Roman-Catholic Status Foundation of Transylvania is again in the situation to seek justice in the street, to rise her voice for justice, to step up for justice by organizing an awareness campaign. On September 6, 2017, at 6 p.m. we organize a demonstration on the square in front of the Prefecture of Mureș County (Târgu Mureș, Victoriei Square nr. 1).

We ask our faithful and all people of goodwill, regardless of denomination, to join our initiative to support the parents and the children regarding their right to choose the school, they would like to attend.

We ask our priests and the ministers of our sister Churches to announce our planned action within the Sunday Holy Mass and religious services and if possible, they should dress in cassock or robe and accompany their faithful.

In the hope of our meeting in Târgu Mureș I send you my cordial greetings

Alba Iulia, September 2, 2017

Dr. Jakubinyi György Archbishop,

President of the Roman-Catholic Status Foundation

"God is with us" (Mt 1:23)

With the Fall, the Evil One has entered our human world. His perversion manifests itself in many ways in our lives. We also experience traces of his corruption in our family life. Nowadays his corruption is even more present, visible in the life of families.

If we want it, it can happen with us. Thus the smile of Christ at Christmas will revitalize us to the depths of our souls. It will enlighten the atmosphere of this feast. Let us therefore embrace, protect and increase the grace and smile of Christ in our hearts. That way we will have a beautiful Christmas!
