Oláh József esperes 2020. január 28-án visszaadta lelkét Teremtőjének.
1942. március 25-én született Szárhegyen. Középiskolai tanulmányait Marosvásárhelyen, a teológiai tanulmányait pedig Gyulafehérváron, a Hittudományi Főiskolán végezte Márton Áron püspök Gyulafehérváron szentelte pappá 1975. június 22-én. 1975-ben papi szolgálatát Csernakeresztúron és Piskitelepen kezdte, majd Gyimesközéplokon folytatta 1975-1976 között. 1976-tól Székelyszenttamáson plébános, 2000-ben kapott tiszteletbeli esperesi címet. Az utóbbi időben sokat küszködött a betegségével, de betegen is végezte szolgálatát, nem akarta otthagyni a nyájat. Isten nyugtassa!

Kedden és szerdán délután 4 órától Ülkében virrasztás lesz az elhunyt esperes lelki üdvéért. Temetése január 30-án, csütörtökön délelőtt 11 órától lesz az ülkei templomból.
